Sports Chaplain, and Paralympic Gold Medalist.

Whether I'm speaking on stage, serving a collegiate athletic program, or partnering with an organization, my mission is to help people grow in character, shift perspectives, and revive the stories that shape culture and performance. I believe the greatest investment any team or organization can make is in its people, because healthy people build

healthy teams.

Through keynote speaking, sports chaplaincy, leadership development, and team culture initiatives, I help individuals and teams navigate adversity, strengthen relationships, and lead with purpose.

About

She has experienced unforeseen turns along her journey, but her positive approach in the face of adversity has yielded a renewed spirit. Known as an optimist and the ultimate encourager, Sydney has shared her moving message with audiences throughout the United States.

Sydney, is a Windsor, CT native, holds a bachelor’s degree from Howard University. While at Howard, she was a member of the Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse team. Less than a year after graduation Sydney was in a life-altering car accident that led to the loss of a limb. Her commitment to athletics and determination throughout her recovery led Howard University’s Athletic Department to name an award after her, The Sydney Satchell Award for Perseverance. Since then, Sydney became a Paralympic Gold Medalist in Paris, France 2024 with the US Women's National Sitting Volleyball Team!
